About Muhaajirah

As Salaamu Alaykum and welcome to Muhaajirah! 🌺

I’m Bint Jihad, and I’ve had the opportunity to make hijrah to Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Morocco, Alhamdulillah. And let me tell you, I’ve learned a LOT along the way!

From finding sisterhood and adjusting to motherhood abroad to learning how to enjoy life in a completely different country, hijrah has brought some of my most beautiful experiences and greatest trials.

And that’s why I created Muhaajirah. There’s plenty of information about making hijrah, but I wanted to talk about the life after we’ve made it.

Here, I share personal stories, lessons, practical advice, and beneficial reminders from the Qur’an and authentic Sunnah, along with the many things I’ve grown to love about life in Muslim countries.
